This company catered food for a school I attended for the last two weeks. Every day, it was a new form of disappointment. Some days, the food smelled off and looked disgusting. Some days, it had a funny taste to it, and one day they even gave us rotting salad. They served us a juice-like drink out of whole milk jugs and requested we save the disposable foil pans, single use drink jugs, and disposable serverware. At one point, after a lunch of overdone chicken tenders and rotten salad, I became ill. I was sick for over 24 hours and quit eating the meals provided by this company. I would never recommend this caterer. These issue were reported over the last 2 weeks to the schoolhouse that made the contract. Our liaison did try to correct the issue but the most notable change was they stopped using the milk jugs to send us drinks. These meals covered breakfast, lunch and dinner for 14 days.
I was promptly greeted as soon as I walked in the door. My server Mi'Auri did an excellent and gave great recommendations. I ordered the double smothered pork chops over rice with cabbage and macaroni & cheese. The food came out hot, fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend this establishment! I'll be back!
Been here a Cpl times, living next door, but Saturday was moving and then the bad weather started. Stopped in to have lunch with a friend. Decided to dine in. I had the Shrimp n cheese grits with a side of buttered cabbage. Friend tried the smothered pork chop over rice with black eye peas n mixed greens. 🔥! Good service n atmosphere.. even in a thunderstorm! Will definitely go back to try more.
I got the famous fried chicken, greens, and mac and cheese. I'd come back just to see the amazing team serving up this magic! But the food.....its such good soul food! That mac and cheese is something else. Try it! You won't regret it. The chicken was perfection and the greens were on point. They loved on us, treated us like family and served us a smoking hot delicious meal. 😋
Hubby and I stopped in after our daughter highly recommended them. The only shame was that we weren't hungry enough to try more. Will definitely be back. We had catfish, I had the yams, and he had greens and tried my yams, plus the cornbread. All of it was wonderful. Portions are very plentiful. Daughter had the fried chicken earlier and said it was so very good. The staff is all very nice and it is so super clean in there. Much appreciated! Oh, and I have to add the peach cobbler❤️❤️
