The pancake was good, even though it was cold. Good eggs. The bacon was plentiful. If you order the home styled potatoes, get gravy. Otherwise, you won't be able to swallow them. Toast was good. We couldn't believe how fast the order was ready. The server was great and seemed happy to be there. The hostess seemed irritated. Lol
We were really excited to try this place after seeing the reviews but we left a little disappointed. The food had an odd taste, like the griddle needed to be cleaned and the oil they used needed to be replaced. The hash browns were nice and crispy but we couldn’t get past the weird taste. Same with the bacon. The biscuits were fresh which was a plus.
Me and my mom came in to try this place for our first time. It was low key kinda packed but we were able to find a booth. Our waitress was polite. The food we ordered was delicious, it wasn’t too greasy like other places. The biscuits and gravy were over the top. We will be coming again!:))
“Best watering hole in the area!” That’s what a random customer told us as we were leaving. We couldn’t agree more. It was our first time here. No frills. A bottomless cup of coffee, great food made to order and very reasonable prices in a time when restaurants seem to arbitrarily raise prices to conform with what other restaurants are doing. A comfortable, small-town vibe. Service is excellent and wait staff is very patient. They all teamed up to make sure everyone in the diner was pleased. I would definitely frequent this restaurant if I lived closer.
Visiting here from Alabama and the food was amazing! We were seated quickly and our food came quick! Will definitely be back!
