Powerful sense of profound loss, deep respect and affirmation. I would describe the design of the external memorial as stark, elegant, and beautiful. The museum is exceptionally well designed and arranged, providing an immersion into the events and context of rescue and survival, as well as implications. It is not an experience or facility that I would recommend for children, even though I saw busloads of kids when I was there. The two hours of time I'd allotted was not half enough; I definitely plan to go back. The exhibits are sensible, focused, and very impactful. Definitely one of the best sites I've ever visited.
Very through, but a bit visually overwelming.
Third time to go through. It is always very moving.
A little sad, because of the tragic loss of life, but overall a great museum.
So much peace and a tasteful representation of a horrible moment
