Cash only joint!! This place opens at 11 and I recommend you get there 10-15 minutes before 11 as there will be a line. Once inside, there is a bar top that seats 10 I believe, 2 tables that seat 2 people each, and a bar top that overlooks the street that seats 3 or 4 people. It's a tight squeeze, but that's what makes it fun. Everyone is served roughly at the same time and the burgers are made to order. You get to watch! If you aren't some of the first few in, then you wait outside until people start getting up. I don't recommend coming later because of the line and when they run out of meat, that's it for the day. Let's talk about the food. The burgers are cheeseburger or hamburger. Double or single. Your regular toppings are optional. I highly recommend getting the grilled onions on the burger. It just elevates the burger and I am not an onion burger gal. The patties are done right there along with the fresh cut curly fries that are fried and the flashes fried again for that extra crisp you love in a fry. Their process is smooth when serving everyone and they are friendly. It's the same two as long as I remember working there. Definitely in my top 5 of burgers. It was a good experience. We got there right when they opened. They quickly asked what we wanted to drink. We were able to find a seat but just be aware if you've never been here it's super small and more than likely will have to wait a little bit before you get seated. It makes it part of the experience tho not complaining just have to point it out. The gentleman cooking was on it, cooking away getting everyone taken care of. The burger was good, you can add jalapeños, bacon, a fried egg for a additional cost. I just got a cheese burger with jalapeños and fries.
It’s one of the best, maybe the best burger, burger you can have in OK. Service is great as soon as you step in Nic will give you a drink and rest goes first come first serve. You can add onion, jalapeño, mushroom, egg, and bacon to your burger. It’s highly recommended. Have CASH please.
Stopped in here while driving through Oklahoma on a road trip. Saw this place on the diners drive ins and dives list and thought it was worth checking out. Small and quaint exactly how it was described. There are only two options on this menu, a burger and a cheeseburger. I would have gotten more toppings like bacon or jalapeños but was never asked. All good. Burger was juicy and delicious as is. The fries left a lot to be desired. Not sure if the oil was old or what, but they had a burned taste even though they clearly were not. I’d stop by for a burger again, skip the fries.
Favorite Burger joint in okc. Do they always open on time? No. Do they always have enough seating for their guests? No. That being said. Its the only burger joint I willingly show up to 20 minutes before they open so I will be sure to get one of the first burgers off the grill. Very delicious. You can't go wrong eating here.
