I visited this restaurant today, and sadly, I wouldn't want to go back. The food was just like any other IHOP, but my complain is against 2 things. 1. There's parking for only 7 vehicles there. If you want to find parking, you need to pay for it in the lot information or the restaurant. 2. At noon, it close to it, I was told there was no more unseeet ice tea. Really? Didn't someone notice it was almost out and starting preparing more? And a bonus: I always pay my ticket with the app using my debit card. I did the same today. I got my receipt as an email, but, the lady came after me outside to tell me I didn't pay for the ticket. When we went back inside, my payment was posted, like it should be. Just in case, I had my copy of receipt ready to flash it to her. Never had this happened to me... It just felt awkward.
Server was nice, fast and did her job well. The atmosphere was quiet and calm. The food.... yo.... the food gave me food poisoning this morning and I was unable to travel for work or get out of bed.... the food looked presentable... but not good enough to enjoy food poisoning from the damn stuff. Though we would give IHOP another go... well, we have made a pact to never eat at an IHOP again🤢
All five stars for me. IHOP was an excellent night cap after an evening of Christmas exploration downtown. From the Myriad Botanical Gardens, sky bridge, to the lights and beautiful red Christmas ornaments outside of the Devon tower. It made for an excellent evening right in downtown OKC.
Horrible service. We ordered drinks. Vickie never came back. Never put our food order in. We waited for over 30 minutes and the place was not even busy. Kitchen staff laughing and playing. We will never go back. Do Better.
This is now my second time coming to this ihop and service has been horrible. The first time I came apparently the store was closed for bug spraying but they still took my order and money. I arrived doors were locked and etc. so an employee who had her dog in the restaurant then proceeds to tell me they are closed and I say I placed an online order and she stated that she would go check on it. She comes back out and stated that they will bring it when it’s ready and to stay in my car. About another 30-45 minutes pass and now the doors are open and I still do not have my food. So I come inside and my order is still not ready. No apologies or anything, your hostess who look like they were maybe 16, were very immature and rude. They just looked I had to ask them about my order. Now here it is a second chance and I come inside and it takes 10 minutes for someone to come greet me to ask what I need. Food again is not ready and I am waiting 20-30 minutes pass my scheduled pick up time. Do NOT OFFER TAKEOUT SERVICES IF I AM STILL GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT 30- 45 minutes. The only think that went right this time is your hostess she looked maybe 18-21. She was the sweetest and apologetic. The service here sucks and I will not be returning.
