First let me start off saying the atmosphere and setting is beautiful. The waitress was top tier.. The food I gave a 7/10 and these are the reasons why. 1 I ordered the parmesan chicken pasta and I am not a fan of pecan and walnut fried chicken breast, So they were kind enough to switch it out just for chicken tenders. We also ordered the pork chops which we had to send one back. Because it was still red and pink in the middle. And that's definitely a no for pork. But they did bring out a fresh well done one.. Everything else was just fine.. If I go back I definitely would try something else.

The food is just as good as any other higher class fast food restaurant. The selection is ok but I usually just get the same thing everytime.
The wait time during peak hours is usually 15-20 min but the various hostess pays attention and we usually get in pretty quick.
The wait staff is attentive but not over bearing. They have had a lot of turnover but the new waitresses are usually good if you understand they are still working the kinks out.
The smoked Manhattan is delicious but super pricey.

We go to Charleston’s all the time at least twice a month. I won’t be back. I’ve never had an issue before I decided I would treat myself this evening so I got it to go order. I ordered a ribeye, baked potato and the salad arrived home ate my salad was ready to eat a ribeye. I open the container and there’s prime rib in there which to me is disgusting especially when you’re looking forward to ribeye .. I’m so disappointed this evening I utterly and completely wasted my money because I’m not going to eat this. It’s gross and not what I ordered. I called the girl that took my order she argued like I didn’t know what i specifically ordered then the manager got on the phone and apologized said she should’ve read order back. The more I think on this I will not take my family back. We normally get filet mignon. Pay a lot. But I won’t spend another dime there.

Staff was nice and attentive. Food was reasonably priced. Ordered the chicken club salad…more croutons than chicken, more lettuce that croutons…had to call for a search party to find the chicken.
My guests enjoyed their fire shrimp salads very much. I just couldn’t order shrimp over chicken in the middle of the country. I guess I was wrong. YMMV

Service and food is always exceptional at Charleston's. This evening apple walnut cobbler was available (one of my all time favorite desserts!). Dynamite shrimp salad has an explosion of flavors ( but I always ask for ALL the dressings on the side so I can adjust it to my tastes). Tried the lemon drop martini for the first time and it was excellent: perfect balance of sweet and tart with a little kick. Update: Blackberry mule is a great refresher for a hot summer day! The Dynamite shrimp appetizer (served with plenty of shrimp on a bed of Asian style slaw) makes a great light meal for one person.
